Brain Training For Dogs

So you’ve got a new puppy, what now?

Puppies need to explore their environment. The most common behavior of them at age five weeks is exploring the place they are in, trying to find out where they are and what they can do. Puppies at a young age tend to sniff everything around them, including people and animals. They like exploring by smelling new things and chewing on different things that they find around the house.

Puppies start to learn how to play too around this age. They often wrestle with or chase other puppies around the house. Puppies that haven’t been vaccinated yet might also start playing with their own poop, which is a normal pup behavior.

Puppies are typically playful and energetic, but when hungry they become less active and whine to show their need.

Puppies, like humans, need to take a nap during the day. Their naps will usually be shorter than ours, but they still need them. If you have a puppy that is 5 weeks of age now, he or she is likely to start sleeping more. Training for puppies is very important

Training a puppy is vital for its general health and well-being. Puppies that are trained will be more obedient, less likely to need professional behaviorists, and more able to take care of themselves.

What is Brain Training For Dogs?

Adrienne Farricelli’s (the creator of the course) Training Philosophy & Method

Adrienne adheres to a straightforward training philosophy that is gentle, definitely force-free, and scientifically based. Her training programme demonstrates the effectiveness of positive reinforcement and reward-based training. Her training entails mental stimulation learned through intelligence games, which she has been refining for more than ten years. Brain Training For Dogs is based on the scientifically proven concept of the human brain’s ‘neuroplasticity.’ According to her website, it’s a well-established idea, and heavily researched at leading universities in the US. In other words, our brains are like soft plastic, capable of moulding and changing in order to learn new habits and behaviours. And she believes that the brains of dogs can be taught in exactly the same way.

She believes that with the right mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training, your dog’s brain can be very much improved.

Real Life Results From Brain Training For Dogs!

Case Studies are my favourite section of the training. Adrienne introduces members to two dogs that were brought to her for training. The behaviours are shown in videos on youtube, along with explanations of what might be the cause and the actual techniques she uses to train the dogs. It’s very entertaining to watch these dogs learn and to see Adrienne apply her techniques to strange dogs. On the sales page, which can be found HERE, there are also some other examples of real results from other dog lovers who have purchased the training.

You can also see Adrienne putting her skills to the test, in loads of videos on youtube. She’s fantastic to watch and learn from.

How Much Does Brain Training For Dogs Cost?

This is an important question, and after navigating the incredibly long sales page for the course, I did expect it to be very expensive, but it’s only $47 (at the time of writing), which is really cheap for what’s on offer.

A lot must be considered when determining if the cost of any training programme is worth it to you: is the training easy to follow, how much time & effort is required, what is the trainer’s experience, what are the methods, and most importantly is there any support on offer?

Is it easy to follow?

Yes, very easy to follow with clear directions that will make sense to anyone.

The course information is clearly presented, so gets top marks from me

How much time & effort is needed?

The training is split into 10-15 minute sessions so they can be easily added to a busy lifestyle.

With the sessions split into quickly paced games, time & effort is minimal so once again top marks from me.

Experienced trainer?

You’ve got to be  comfortable with the methods being used.

Adrienne’s methods are science based, she does not use any harsh training techniques and certainly makes me feel comfortable when watching her techniques.

She’s a trainer with a lot of experience that she has backed up with loads of visible proof that she knows what she’s doing, another high score from me on that one.

Is there any support?

email support is provided to all, as for is it any good? that’s depended on the individual because it depends on what queries you have and not all questions can easily be answered via email. So I’m not a massive fan of that type of support, I think the odd skype call would be useful would’ve been nice to see.

Is it worth it?

Yes! It is well worth the price! considering that you can easily spend $47 and more on a few books, but for peace of mind there is a 60 day money back guarantee. Click here to view
